Logon Options
The logon window that displays differs depending on how SYSTOC was installed on your workstation, your user profile, and whether your clinic administrators have opted to use Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) support or LDAP support with Single Sign On (SSO).
Administrators set up users in Utility > Security > User Information. See User Information for more information.
Log on directly to SYSTOC
Log on directly to SYSTOC: the logon screen displays immediately when you double-click the SYSTOC icon. Enter your User ID and Password and press OK. Important: After five unsuccessful logon attempts, the user account is automatically locked. Accounts can be unlocked by an administrator, or a user can unlock it if security questions have been set up on Personal Preferences.

Log on with menu
When the copy SYSTOC.exe method of workstation setup is used, a program menu displays prior to the logon screen. When you select Systoc and click OK, the SYSTOC logon screen appears.

Log on and select a location
A user whose login is associated with a clinic location group sees a list of available locations after entering their user ID and password. The program defaults to the first location in the list. Select the location in which you want to work.
A list of locations associated to your clinic location group displays, with locations pre-selected. Leave the locations selected or clear specific locations. Selected locations are included when a report is run. Click Ok.
To move to another location while working, press F11, enter the password associated with your logon method, and select the new location. Click Ok.

Log on with LDAP support
A user who is set up to log on with LDAP support enters their domain User ID, Password, and Domain name on the logon screen after initial setup. On subsequent logins, the system remembers the User ID and Domain and the user only needs to enter their password. See Program Preferences, User Information, and Set up LDAP Supported Logons.

Log on with LDAP with SSO enabled
A user who is set up to log on with LDAP support with SSO enabled does not have to enter their User ID, Password, or Domain. When the SYSTOC icon is double-clicked, the domain name and user ID are applied to the login screen from their Windows session, and SYSTOC opens. See Program Preferences, User Information, and Set up LDAP Supported Logins.
Unlock a locked account
Users can set up security questions on the Personal Preferences screen to enable them to answer the questions and change their password to unlock their account. The account remains locked after three failed answer attempts. This feature works with logon options that do not use LDAP support or LDAP with SSO enabled.
